The official main trailer for Raven of the Inner Palace showcases the main theme songs, stunning art and visuals, and a general storyline overview.
The Raven of the Inner Palace is set in a time inspired by historical China, where dark magic and mysteries are prevalent. Within the palace lives a mysterious woman known as the Raven Consort.
Some believe that she’s an older woman and others think she’s beautiful and young. While they may not know her looks, they all agree that her powers are incredible. She can exorcise spirits, create deadly curses, and find lost things, but she doesn’t do it for free.
Koushun, the young emperor, searches for the Raven Consort in the hopes of using her dark arts, but what occurs after changes the course of the court and the country.
As the animation studio for this series is Bandai Namco Pictures (Gintama and Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun), and the producer is Aniplex (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Kaguya-sama: Love is War), many fans have high expectations for this series.
In addition, the talented Japanese voice actors who will play the main characters for this series include:
- Saku Mizuno as Jusetsu Ryuu. Saku is known for her role as Rena Hananoi in Selection Project.
- Marika Kouno as Jiujiu. Marika is known for her roles as Yumina Urnea Belfast in In Another World With My Smartphone and Mimi Tachikawa in Digimon Adventure.
